Crème Delight
Hello Friends.
This dessert recipe that I’m posting today is a very easy to prepare dish which gets ready in minutes. This is a super delicious dessert and will leave your guests asking for more. Its so simple that even children enjoy making it and its always a popular dessert in any party or gathering. This dish is very close to my heart as my children have loved it since they were kids. Recipe (Serves 12)
Ingredients
- Petit Beurre Biscuits or any similar biscuits which are not too sweet- Approx 3 dozen
- Instant Creme Caramel (50 gms each, contains one pkt creme pwd and one caramel sachet)- 4 nos
- Tinned cream (160 gms each)- 5 tins
- Fruit Cocktail- 1 tin
Method
Step 1. Empty cream from tins into a bowl.
Step 2. Open the Creme Caramel boxes and add all the powder sachets into the cream and mix well.
Step 3. Separate syrup and fruits from fruit cocktail tin and keep in separate bowls.
Step 4. Take a rectangular glass casserole dish or any serving dish of your choice. The dish I have used is 18 cms x 28 cms.
Step 5. Spoon some cream mixture onto the casserole and spread it out to cover the dish.
Step 6. Spread a layer of biscuits on this.
Step 7. Spoon syrup on the biscuits to moisten them.
Step 8. Spread around 1/3rd of the cream mixture on the biscuits.
Step 9. Sprinkle some fruits on top. This step is optional, use fruits if you like fruits in your dessert.
Step 10. Make a cut in the corner of one caramel sachet and drizzle it on the cream mixture layer.
Step 11. Spread another layer of biscuits. Repeat step 6 to step 10 two more times.
Step 12. Garnish the top layer with chocolate curls and colorful sprinkles. You can even add cherries.
Step 13. Chill in the fridge for few hours. Serve chilled.
